Here's a couple of pix from a walk in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, to ruined Findlater Castle. I didn't take any pix of the castle this time as I was getting the fields of wheat before the harvesters come along. The building in the second pic is a doocot - there was a fashion in time gone by for wealthy landowners to have a dove, or pigeon, house. This one is pretty big - I wouldn't have fancied cleaning it out!
